“Idlewild Ranch is a Buffalo Ranch with 170 Plains Buffalo cows. We have a cow calf operation on 2000 acres of mostly tame pasture. In spite of our northern latitude (56 degrees north) our Buffalo cows graze 9 to 10 months each year and are fed the remaining time, usually February and March. We feed our calves and yearlings from October to May.”
